Important Facebook + Instagram Ad Metrics for Wedding Professionals

Metrics To Keep An Eye On:

As a wedding professional who is running ads, it’s important to know the health of your ads.  To do that you will want to keep an eye on these important Facebook + Instagram Ad Metrics for Wedding Professionals.

Results

“The number of times that your ad achieved an outcome, based on the objective and settings you selected.”
This refers to the result you are going after for that campaign. It can be forms submitted, 10-second Video Views, Link Clicks, etc.

✓ Make sure that the number under results is always going up.

Frequency

“The average number of times that each person saw your ad.”
✓ If your frequency is too high, it means that your ads are being shown to the same people over and over and over, and instead, we want new people to see the ads.

Cost Per Result

“The average cost per result from your adverts.”
Cost per Video View or Link Click.
✓ This metric will be a huge indicator for which ads are performing the best and if you need to turn an ad off. This number should go down over time or hover around the same cost.

CPM

“The average cost for 1,000 impressions.”
✓ This is an important metric to keep an eye on during testing because it could indicate if an ad is not reaching as many people as the other test ads.

Link Clicks

“The number of clicks on links within the ad that led to destinations or experiences, on or off Facebook. For ads promoting Instagram profile views, link clicks include clicks on the ad header or comments that led to the advertiser’s profile.”

✓ This is important because it tells us what percent of people are interacting with and wanting to know more.

CPC (cost per link click)

“The average cost for each link click.”
✓ This is important because it tells us what the average cost per link click is.

CTR (link-click though)

“The percentage of times people saw your ad and performed a link click.”
✓ This is the percent of people who saw the ad and clicked through to the next step.

Video Average Watch Time

“The average time that a video was played for, including any time spent replaying the video for a single impression.”
✓ This is important because it tells us what the average amount of time someone is watching the video.
